How to Play
Double Russian Reserve is a double-deck Russian Solitaire variant played with 104 cards, 8 foundations, a 14-column tableau, and 6 pre-populated reserve cells.
Objective
Move all 104 cards to the 8 foundations, building each suit in ascending order from Ace to King.
Tableau Rules
The custom 14-column tableau is your main working area.
You may select any face-up card in a column.
When you move a card, every card stacked on top of it must move with it.
Only the card you selected must be valid for its destination. The cards above it are not checked.
Example
K♠ 9♥ ← selected 7♦ 3♣ 2♣
Selecting 9♥ moves:
9♥ 7♦ 3♣ 2♣
Only 9♥ must legally fit where you place it.
Building on the Tableau
Cards must follow the game’s build rule (e.g., descending by suit).
Empty columns may only be filled with a King.
Foundations
Start with an Ace.
Build upward by suit: Ace → 2 → 3 → … → King.
Cards placed in the foundation cannot return.
Reserve Cells
The 6 reserve cells are free single-card holding spaces that start the game filled.
One card per reserve cell.
Only the top card of a tableau column may be moved into an empty reserve cell.
Cards in reserve cells may later move to the tableau or foundation if legal.
Use reserve cells to temporarily free blocked cards and create new options in the custom tableau layout.
